The 5-position switch came with easy-to-follow instructions. The hardest part of the installation was drilling the holes in the proper position to allow the **** to index with the markings on my charger face, very happy and it's working well

Exact match for my neighbors XG8000e generator. Fit perfectly and starts right up.

This Switch FIT my 39 year old Sears 60 / 250 Battery Charger.

However there were a ... " FEW " ... adjustments that had to be made.

1. The original hole for the switch to go through the Cabinet , was " OVAL SHAPE " . This new switch , was " Round " and also a little larger. I rounded the hole out and it went right in.
2. When positioning the Switch and Tightening the nut down. The Switch had to be rotated at a 45 degree angle to Align Switch Positions with the " LABEL " on the Charger cover. Also , I ground the little tabs down to make it fit flat. I then just turned the Selector all the way Counterclockwise [ off position ] and then lined it up to the label and tightened down. Works great.
